Use of a multimeter

1. When using the multimeter, it should be mechanically zeroed and the pointer should be zeroed.

2. When measuring resistance, select the appropriate magnification so that the pointer is in the middle of the scale, and adjust the multimeter to the ohm range. The measured resistance and the multimeter can be connected in series or in parallel.

3. When measuring the current, you should select the appropriate range gear and connect the multimeter in series with the circuit under test. Before measurement, the circuit should be disconnected, the red and black test leads of the multimeter should be connected in series between the two disconnected points, the size of the current pointer should be checked, and the measured current should be calculated.

4. When measuring the voltage, connect the black test lead of the multimeter to the negative pole, the red test lead to the positive pole, connect the circuit, and check the reading of the multimeter, which is the measured voltage value.
