What are the differences between a white light soldering station and a soldering iron?

White light soldering stations and soldering irons are both tools that are commonly used for soldering.
A white light soldering station is a hand tool commonly used in the electronic soldering process, by supplying heat to the solder (usually tin wire) to make it melt, so as to make the two workpieces welded together.
Soldering iron is a necessary tool for electronic production and electrical maintenance, the main purpose is to weld components and wires.

What is the difference between white light soldering station and soldering iron?
a, energy consumption comparison, constant temperature welding station energy consumption is relatively low, because to the adjusted temperature, not in the heating, the corresponding energy consumption is low, that is to say, the same welding effect, welding station with less electricity;

b, anti-static comparison, the welding station has a de-static function, but the soldering iron is generally not.

c, consumables life comparison, the temperature of the soldering station is controlled, will not rise indefinitely, so the life of the soldering iron head and the life of the heating core is higher;

d, efficiency comparison, thermostatic soldering station efficiency is relatively high, thermal efficiency can reach about 80%, soldering iron can generally have 50% is good;

e, back to the temperature comparison, the soldering station back to the temperature faster, the corresponding worker's work efficiency is higher;

f, safety comparison, welding station handle voltage is only 24 volts AC, belongs to the ** voltage, generally will not be electrocuted;
