What do the numbers displayed on the test pen mean?
When the digital electric pen checks the alternating current, press the finger on the direct detection copper point. When measuring the live wire, the display shows 12v36v55v110v220, which means the voltage is 220 volts; the display shows 12v36v55v110, which means the voltage is 110 volts; Displayed as 12v36 means the voltage is 36 volts; displayed as 12 means the voltage is 12 volts.
The zero line should have no voltage, but it may also display a voltage below 55 volts when the useful electrical appliance is connected.
The luminous voltage of the neon tube is above 70v, and the series resistance is 500k. When testing the 220v voltage, the maximum current flowing through the human body is: i=(220—70)÷500=0.3ma, and the current of the human body passing through 30ma is considered to be safe.
For ordinary people, the so-called 36v is a safe voltage, as long as you use the tester correctly, nothing will happen.
What is the reason why the digital electric pen does not display numbers
The digital pen does not display numbers because the screen of the pen is faulty and needs to be replaced.
Digital test pencil steps:
1. Use your thumb to pinch the direct contact, and the rest of your fingers to hold the test pen, and then touch the metal head of the test pen to the object to be tested.
2. If the object is charged, a lightning icon will appear on the display.
3. If the object is not charged, the display is blank. Sometimes we may not be able to directly touch the object to be tested, such as plastic-coated wires, or some areas with small apertures, and the test pen cannot be inserted into it. At this time, we can use breakpoint contacts to measure.
4. Pinch the breakpoint contact with your thumb.
5. Put the tip of the test pencil close to the object to be tested (no need to touch it). If the circuit is open, a lightning bolt icon will appear on the display. Otherwise, the screen is blank.
