What fields are metallographic microscopes mainly suitable for?
Metallographic microscopes have higher accuracy than image measuring instruments in industrial measurement, and are generally used to measure high-precision parts.
Metallographic microscope is a microscope suitable for metallographic examination and failure analysis of various large workpieces on site. It does not require cutting and sampling, but directly grinds and polishes the workpiece to ensure its integrity. The microscope base is equipped with a magnetic suction seat, which can be directly attached to the workpiece to observe the microstructure for on-site metallographic examination.

Metallographic microscopes are suitable for industries such as aviation manufacturing, mechanical manufacturing, vehicle manufacturing, boiler and pressure vessel manufacturing and inspection, petrochemicals, railways, shipbuilding, power plants, power stations, equipment installation, large molds, testing, quality supervision, physical and chemical laboratories, etc.

Metallographic microscopes can also be widely used in factories and laboratories for the identification of casting quality, raw material inspection, or research and analysis of metallographic structures after material processing.

Daily maintenance and upkeep of optical microscopes
1. Operate the microscope according to strict procedures and instructions.

2. When moving the microscope, be sure to hold the base firmly, do not tilt it, and handle it gently.

3. During observation, do not move the microscope.

4. The optical components of the microscope should not be touched with fingers, but should be wiped with special lens wiping paper.

5. When converting the objective lens, the converter should be turned instead of moving the animal lens. At the same time, do not turn the focusing handwheel randomly. When using, turn it slowly and gently.

6. When using a high-power objective lens, to avoid damaging the objective lens and glass slide, do not move too far.

7. Do not disassemble microscope parts or objective lenses at will to avoid damaging the microscope.

8. After using the microscope, it is necessary to inspect the objective lens and other components, wipe the lens, stage, etc. clean, and store them in a box.

9. When storing microscopes, it is best to keep them in a dry and clean environment, avoiding dust and chemical contamination.
