What if the infrared thermometer suddenly experiences an ambient temperature difference of 20 ℃ or higher?

Disadvantages of infrared thermometer

(1) It is necessary to accurately determine the emissivity of the measured object;

(2) Avoid the influence of high-temperature objects in the surrounding environment;

(3) For transparent materials, the ambient temperature should be lower than the temperature of the tested object;

(4) The thermometer should be vertically aligned with the surface of the measured object, and in no case should the angle exceed 30 ℃

(5) It cannot be used for temperature measurement on bright or polished metal surfaces, and cannot be measured through glass;

(6) The correct selection of the follow off coefficient requires the target diameter to fill the field of view;

(7) If the infrared thermometer is suddenly exposed to an ambient temperature difference of 20 ℃ or higher, the measurement data will be inaccurate. After the temperature is balanced, the measured temperature value will be taken

Characteristics of infrared thermometer

1. Non contact measurement: It does not need to come into contact with the interior or surface of the measured temperature field, so it will not interfere with the state of the measured temperature field, and the thermometer itself is not damaged by the temperature field.

2. Wide measurement range: Due to its non-contact temperature measurement, the thermometer is not in a higher or lower temperature field, but operates under normal temperature or conditions allowed by the thermometer. Generally, it can measure from minus tens of degrees to over 3000 degrees.

3. Fast temperature measurement speed: i.e. fast response time. As long as the infrared radiation of the target is received, the temperature can be determined in a short period of time.

4. High accuracy: Infrared temperature measurement will not damage the temperature distribution of the object itself like contact temperature measurement, so the measurement accuracy is high.

5. High sensitivity: As long as there is a slight change in the temperature of the object, there will be a significant change in the radiation energy, making it easy to measure. It can be used for temperature measurement of small temperature fields.

6. Temperature distribution measurement, as well as temperature measurement of moving or rotating objects. Safe to use and long service life.
