What is the principle of door-type infrared thermometer?

The door thermometer is composed of an infrared optical lens, filter, sensor and electrical signal processing unit, etc., and can detect infrared radiation from the target being measured;

The temperature of the target is determined based on its radiation intensity. It can be easily installed in a variety of applications and is especially suitable for installation in industrial environments that require long distances and strong interference.

The door-type infrared thermometer adopts a cast aluminum casing and has good protection capabilities at the temperature measurement site.

This instrument measures the surface temperature of the human forehead, and then obtains the actual body temperature of the human body based on the relationship between the forehead temperature and the body temperature.

The optical component of the detector collects the energy emitted and reflected from the forehead onto the sensor, and the electronic component converts this information into a temperature reading and displays it on the display panel;

When the temperature reading exceeds the high temperature alarm value, the instrument will sound an alarm and the red alarm light will light up. If the body temperature is normal, the green alarm light will light up.

working principle:

(1) All objects in nature with temperatures above zero are due to thermal motion of molecules;
They are constantly radiating electromagnetic waves, including infrared bands, into the surrounding space, and their radiation energy density is proportional to the fourth power of the temperature of the object itself.

Small temperature changes will cause significant changes in radiation energy, so the sensitivity of using infrared radiation to measure the temperature of objects is very high.

(2) The infrared radiation characteristics of the human body are closely related to its surface temperature. The human body mainly radiates infrared rays with a wavelength of 9~10 μm;

By measuring the infrared energy radiated by the human body itself, the surface temperature of the human body can be accurately measured.

Since light in this wavelength range is not absorbed by the air, the infrared energy radiated by the human body can be used to measure the surface temperature of the human body.

(3) The advantage of infrared temperature measurement technology is non-contact and fast measurement, and the test can be completed within 1 second.

Since the infrared thermometer only receives the infrared radiation energy emitted by the human body, no other physical and chemical factors act on the human body, so it does no harm to the human body.
