What is the resolution error of a gas detector?

A gas detector is an instrument used to detect the concentration of toxic and harmful gases present in the ambient air. It can quickly and accurately detect toxic gases, combustible gases, etc. in the air through sensors, detectors and other components, and can send out alarm signals. So what is the resolution error of the gas detector?

Generally speaking, gas detectors will have resolution errors. No matter any product, there is no way to achieve 100% accuracy. Therefore, when using a gas detector, if the measurement range is usually 0-100ppm, then its The resolution is generally 0.1ppm.

However, the 0.1ppm of the gas detector does not mean that if the actual value is 89.88ppm, it will display 89.9ppm.

The resolution of the body detector is 0.1ppm. If the accuracy of a conventional product is 3%, and the error value is 3ppm, then its display value should be 86.9, 87.0, 87.1...92.7, 92.8, 92.9.

Correspondingly, a resolution of 0.01ppm only means that the displayed values are 86.88, 87.88...92.78, 92.88.

The error value of the gas detector is the accuracy, and the resolution is the meaning of the displayed value.
(1) The resolution is 1% and the accuracy is 3%. If the measurement range is 0-100ppm and the actual value is 89.88ppm, the displayed values will be 88ppm, 89ppm, 90ppm, 91ppm, 92ppm, and 93ppm.

(2) If the resolution is 1% and the accuracy is 1%, then the measurement range is 0-100ppm, and when the actual value is 89.88ppm, the displayed value is either 89ppm, 90ppm, or 91ppm.

(3) If the resolution is 0.1%, the accuracy is 1%. If the same as above, the displayed values are 88.9, 89.0, 89.1...90.7, 90.8, 90.9.

The above resolution errors of gas detectors are shared here. Gas detectors are widely used in petrochemical, chemical, metallurgical, mining, medical, aviation and other fields to ensure the safety of the workplace and prevent accidents.
