From this point of view, a circuit with reliable design and better materials can basically guarantee the service life of the fuselage for 3-5 years. Some portable gas detectors have an air pump and battery, and the service life is about 2 years.
In short, in the case of normal use of the gas detector, there will be no problems with the circuit board. In most cases, instrument failure is caused by sensor failure, so the life of the gas detector is equal to the life of the sensor. The lifetime of the electrochemical sensor is about 2 years. After two years, it is necessary to test the performance of the instrument and then determine whether to replace the sensor. When replacing the sensor, the gas detector needs to be accurately calibrated.

It should be noted that each sensor corresponds to a specific detection gas, but no gas detector can be absolutely special. Therefore, when choosing a gas sensor, it is necessary to understand the interference of other gases on the sensor detection as much as possible to ensure its accurate detection of a specific gas.
