The industry needs industrial gas as a raw material in the production process, and a variety of toxic and harmful gases with high purity are generated in the production process. Therefore, gas detection instruments are required for monitoring to prevent industrial gas raw materials from leaking or gas exceeding the standard, and monitoring at all times to reduce hidden dangers.

The supplied portable gas detector can be used as a safety alarm, which can be worn with the diffusion type, because it can continuously, real-time and accurately display the concentration of toxic and harmful gases on site. The gas detector is easy to operate, small in size, can be carried to different production sites, and has a long working time. So what should you pay attention to when using a gas detector?

The following points should be paid attention to when using the gas detector

Places affected by steam and oil fumes:

The detector in the gas detection alarm is a very sensitive part, and its probe can maintain a high degree of sensitivity in a clean environment. Therefore, when installing the gas detector, it is necessary to avoid places with oil smoke and steam. Because if the oil fume adheres to the surface of the probe, it will not be in normal contact with the outside air, and the moisture in the steam will cause the detector to rust, which will cause the detector to malfunction if it goes on for a long time.

Where the air flow is large:

No matter how large the specific gravity of the gas is, it will be gradually blown away and diluted by the circulation of air. In such an environment, it is impossible to accurately measure the gas in the environment. Therefore, when installing a gas detector and alarm device, avoid places where the air flow is relatively large, such as beside the ventilation fan, near the ventilation opening, and around the air supply port. The installation of the gas detector should avoid these places.

Where the temperature is too high or too low:

When the temperature is lower than minus 40 degrees Celsius or higher than 70 degrees Celsius, the components of the gas detection alarm will be affected, resulting in errors in the accuracy of gas detection, and even damage to the gas detector itself. , so when installing the detector, be careful not to install it in a place where the temperature is compared.

The gas detector is an electrochemical detector powered by alkaline batteries, which can be used continuously for 1000 hours; the new LEL detector, PID and composite instruments use rechargeable batteries, so that they can generally work continuously for nearly 12 hours. Therefore, gas detectors are more and more widely used in various factories and health departments.
