What standard types of laser rangefinders are there?
1. A portable rangefinder with laser
The measurement precision is roughly 2mm, and the measurement distance is typically within 200 meters. Currently, this is the laser rangefinder that is utilized the most. Functionally, it can typically determine the volume of the item being measured in addition to calculating the distance.
2. A laser rangefinder with cloud service
The measurement data on the laser range finder is transmitted in real time via Bluetooth to mobile devices like smartphones and tablet computers; the data can also be transmitted via wifi networking to the cloud server; and the measurement data can be shared in real time with distant construction partners.
3. Telescopic laser range finder
The normal measuring range is roughly 3.5 meters to 2000 meters, and there are also ranging telescopes with a maximum range of about 10 kilometers, making the measurement distance relatively large. The blind area is lower than 3.5 meters and the laser is farther than 2000 meters due to the range telescope's collimation needs. YAG lasers having a wavelength of 1.064 microns are typically used in telescopes. The laser power is rather powerful to achieve a wider measurement range. Users are urged to be cautious when using lasers. Outdoor medium- and long-distance measuring is the primary application area.
Additionally, it can be broken down into three categories: one-dimensional laser range finder, two-dimensional laser range finder, and three-dimensional laser range finder. One-dimensional laser range finders are used for positioning and measuring distances, while two-dimensional laser range finders are used for monitoring areas, measuring contours, and other things.
