Where do you need to use gas detectors?

The gas detector is widely used, and users need to consider the following three characteristics when choosing this instrument.

1. Stability
Stability is a problem we should consider. The smaller the zero offset and full amplitude offset, the better.

2. Convenience
On the premise of stability, convenience is also a factor that must be paid attention to. It is light in weight, small in size, easy and comfortable to wear and easy to maintain.

3. Applicability
Technicians identify and evaluate hazardous gases in a certain space operation site to determine whether the selected gas detector meets the use requirements.

Which places need gas detectors?

1. Hospital
There will be many toxic substances in medical laboratories and medical waste gas, and the field equipment power supply and standby power station will be used in hospitals with large plans, so gas detection instruments are needed to ensure the safety and health of patients and doctors.

2. Tunnels and parking lots
In tunnels and parking lots, toxic gases in exhaust gas need to be monitored in vehicle tunnels and closed parking lots. Modern tunnels and parking lots are monitored and controlled by ventilation fans. It is also necessary to monitor the accumulation of natural gas in tunnels. For our health and safety, the pollution and harm of gas should not be underestimated.

3. Semiconductor manufacturing
In semiconductor manufacturing, phosphorus, arsenic, boron and gallium are often used as additives, and hydrogen is used as the carrier gas of reactants and reducing air. At the same time, the use of many highly toxic substances and flammable gases makes the gas detector an indispensable instrument.

4. Power station
The main fuels of power stations are coal and oil, and Europe and the United States use more natural gas as fuel. Therefore, gas monitors are mainly used in power stations to detect flammable gases such as natural gas, hydrogen, and toxic gases such as CO and SO.

5. Oil and gas
It can be used in oil and gas application sites and industrial activities. When oil and gas are mined, transported, stored and smelted, flammable hydrocarbon gas with explosion risk and toxic gas such as hydrogen sulfide will appear. Therefore, gas detector is an important instrument for exploration and drilling channels, as well as oil and gas terminal stations and smelters.

6. Chemical sites
Chemical plants often produce a large number of toxic gases when operating, so chemical plants are one of the users with a large number of gas detection equipment, mainly used for the storage of chemical raw materials, gas detection in technical experimental areas, compressor stations, guide areas and non-guide areas, etc., mainly targeting general hydrocarbon gases and various toxic gases, such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia.

7. Boiler room
Gas leakage in boiler room and leakage in gas pipeline around boiler seriously endanger indoor personal safety and environment, so gas detector is a must for boiler room.

8. Wastewater treatment
Due to poor governance, sewage and wastewater are very common in many cities and towns, and harmful gases such as methane and hydrogen sulfide are naturally emitted from sewage and wastewater, which has a pungent smell, so gas purifiers can be of great use here.

9, gas station, filling station
Common fuels include gasoline and diesel, which are flammable, explosive and volatile, so open flames are not allowed in gas stations, and smoking and lighters are prohibited. Once gas leaks, the consequences are unimaginable, so gas stations must install combustible gas alarms.
