How to change an ordinary electric soldering iron into an adjustable temperature electric soldering iron
For those engaged in soldering work, the electric soldering iron is undoubtedly one of the necessary tools in the work, but the ordinary electric soldering iron does not have the function of temperature adjustment, and it is easy to burn black when heated for a long time, resulting in non-stick tin.
Is there any way to transform an ordinary electric soldering iron into an adjustable temperature electric soldering iron to achieve better temperature control and protect the soldering iron tip? Two methods are shared below.
1. Buy an AC thyristor voltage regulating module (a few dollars), add a plastic shell, connect a socket, and adjust the voltage to realize the adjustable temperature function. The remodeled socket has multiple functions such as speed regulation, light regulation, and temperature regulation.
2. Use a discarded electric blanket switch, which has high, medium and low grades, connect it to an electric soldering iron or another socket, or transform an ordinary electric soldering iron into an adjustable temperature electric soldering iron.
