It uses a laser pointer for aiming, and measures the temperature of the surface by detecting the amount of infrared energy emitted by the surface. It is equipped with a hygrometer to measure relative humidity, and an IR Termometro to measure the temperature. The thermometer comes with a color LCD that displays the temperature reading in either °F or °C. The device also has a light alarm feature that alerts you when the temperature exceeds a pre-set value.
