Application Areas for Gas Detectors
With the continuous development of technology, gas detectors have found increasingly wide applications. Both the appearance and sensor technology of gas detectors keep evolving, and many new types have emerged, providing great assistance to daily work. What fields and industries commonly use gas detectors? Several major application sectors are introduced below.
Ⅰ. Petrochemical Industry The petroleum industry involves a large amount of combustible gases, ranging from main oil pipelines, large refineries and oil production bases to gas stations and gasoline transfer stations. Many small components and equipment at these sites carry risks of gas leakage. Therefore, gas detectors are essential to monitor ambient gas concentration and check for leakage points on equipment and facilities.
Ⅱ. Pharmaceutical Industry Gas detectors, especially toxic gas detectors, are widely used in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
