Applications and Maintenance of Anemometers

Thermal anemometer - measurement of airflow inside pipelines
Industrial exhaust ducts and heating system pipelines are mostly installed in higher places due to the high temperature or large volume of the discharged air. For the measurement of such pipelines, probe anemometers are the most suitable. The DT-8880 thermal anemometer, equipped with a telescopic probe, is an expert in measuring airflow in narrow pipelines and small spaces. This anemometer comes with a portable design that can measure wind speed, temperature, and volume, making it suitable for measuring low wind speeds. The backlit ultra large LCD display screen has high accuracy and reliable data. In addition, the anemometer can also input the cross-sectional area of the pipeline to calculate the air volume.

Wheeled anemometer - exhaust measurement
Due to the high-speed zone generated on the surface of the free vent, the rest of the area is a low-speed zone, and vortices are generated on the grid. In this case, it is appropriate to use a blade type anemometer for measurement at a certain distance (about 20cm) in front of the grid, as larger diameter impellers can average uneven flow velocities and calculate their average values over a larger range. The blade type anemometer DT-620 has a double cast plastic housing, which is easy to use and easy to operate. It has data retention and high/low value retention functions. In addition, the temperature sensor of the anemometer adopts NTC type high-precision thermistor, and the wind speed sensor adopts ultra-low friction bearings, which have high height and sensitivity.
