Calibrate and use precautions of hand-held Brix refractometer

Prior to measurement, the zero point must be calibrated on the portable Brix refractometer calibration and temperature correction instrument. In order to set the dividing line to the 0% point of the scale, take a few drops of distilled water, place them on the detecting prism, and turn the zero adjustment screw. After that, inspect after cleaning the inspection prism. For some instrument models, standard solution must be used during calibration instead of distilled water. Use the temperature correction table to add (or remove) the temperature correction value from the value obtained at ambient temperature in order to obtain an accurate reading. This approach is solely appropriate for the assessment of sugar content.

1. The instrument must be used with extreme caution; it must be used strictly in accordance with the instructions, and it must not be dropped, collided with, or subjected to intense vibrations.

2. It is completely prohibited to clean it after usage by submerging it in water. Instead, use a clean, soft towel to wipe it down. It must not be scraped or bumped on the optical surface.

3. The instrument needs to be kept in a dry, non-corrosive environment.

4. to prevent the misplacement of spare parts.

Currently available sugar content meters are broken down into: Non-destructive sugar content meter: To measure the fruit's sweetness, simply touch the probe to the fruit's surface without cutting it. Measure the sweetness of the fruit before collecting it to make sure it is uniformly sweet and to advance the management objectives for crop production. Brix Tester for Computers: According to quality inspection, grading, processing, and packing procedures, each fruit is checked for sweetness, which can raise the fruit's high selling price.
