Characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of non-contact thermometers
The non-contact infrared thermometer adopts an ultra-low power intelligent design. The ultra-low power design ensures that the product can work for a longer period of time, reducing the hassle of frequent battery replacement and low battery during operation for users. Intelligent design helps users to test more conveniently and capture the true value of the tested object more quickly, while the instrument can intelligently select battery or USB connection for power supply.
(1) Can measure the temperature of moving objects.
(2) Wide temperature measurement range (theoretically unlimited), suitable for high temperature measurement.
(3) The thermal inertia is small, the response time of the detector is short, and the temperature measurement response speed is fast, about 2-3 seconds, making it easy to achieve fast and dynamic temperature measurement. Under certain specific conditions, such as nuclear radiation fields, radiation thermometry can provide accurate and reliable measurements.
(4) During the temperature measurement process, it does not damage the temperature field of the object being measured and does not affect the distribution of the original temperature field.
Disadvantages of non-contact temperature measuring instruments
(1) Due to being non-contact. The measurement of radiation thermometers is greatly influenced by the intermediate medium. Don't wait under industrial site conditions. The surrounding environment is relatively harsh, and the influence of the intermediate medium on the measurement results is greater. In this regard, the selection of the wavelength range for thermometers is crucial.
(2) It cannot directly measure the true temperature of the object being measured. To obtain the true temperature, it is necessary to correct the emissivity. And emissivity is a parameter with complex influencing factors, which increases the difficulty of processing measurement results.
(3) Due to the complex principle of radiation temperature measurement, the thermometer structure is complicated and the price is relatively high.
