Coating Thickness Gauge Selection Tips
1. Why choose environmental testing coating thickness gauge? What are the advantages of environmental testing products?
Answer: First of all, environmental testing products have very high quality assurance. We have the largest and most advanced production line in China. With a production history of nearly 20 years, our current domestic share is more than 70%. In terms of services, environmental testing companies have many domestic branches. The company has hundreds of agencies to maximize local purchase and repair nearby. As a high-paying technology company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange with its main business of testing instruments, the Environmental Testing Company has very strong capabilities in production, development, and sales.
2. What coating materials does the ring coating thickness gauge mainly measure?
Answer: The ring coating thickness gauge can measure the thickness of the non-magnetic coating on the magnetic metal substrate and the thickness of the non-conductive layer on the non-magnetic metal substrate.
3. Can the ring coating thickness gauge measure coatings on non-metallic materials?
Answer: Currently, the coating thickness gauge produced by Huanmei cannot measure the coating thickness on non-metallic materials. It can only measure the coating of non-magnetic materials on iron-based materials and the thickness of the insulation layer on non-ferrous-based metal materials.
Another: For coating measurement of non-metallic substrate materials, electrolysis, X-ray, ultrasonic coating and other instruments can currently be selected. However, each method has advantages and disadvantages. Electrolysis will destroy the material. X-ray thickness gauges are relatively expensive, and ultrasonic thickness gauges are relatively expensive. The accuracy and stability of coating thickness gauges are not very good. Currently, many users use Times thickness gauges to measure through indirect methods. For example, during the spraying process, metal materials and non-metallic materials are sprayed at the same time, and then the thickness of the coating thickness gauge is measured in the same process. The thickness of the metal coating indirectly determines the thickness of the non-metallic material sprayed.
4. Can the ring coating thickness gauge measure the coating of high-temperature materials?
Answer: The ring thickness gauge cannot measure high-temperature materials. In principle, it can only measure materials below 60 degrees.
5. Can the ring coating thickness gauge measure the thickness of the nickel plating layer?
Answer: No! Because nickel is both magnetic and electrically conductive, the thickness of the nickel plating layer cannot be measured.
6. The coating of our factory is made of fireproof material with a thickness of 5-8 mm. Can I use your factory's products for measurement?
Answer: The optional TT260 is equipped with the F10 probe, which can measure the coating thickness of 0-10mm.
