Common Problems and Solutions of Microscopes


1. The microscope bulb does not light up


1. Check whether the power cord is loose and the socket is normal.


2. Check whether the fuse is blown (the fuse is mostly located at the power interface of the fuselage). If it is blown, replace the fuse.


3. Replace the spare bulb, be careful not to touch the bulb directly with your fingers during the replacement process.


2. The microscope cannot focus on imaging


1. Check whether the focusing limit mechanism is not adjusted properly, resulting in insufficient working distance.


2. Check whether the sample is placed upside down. If the cover glass is facing down, the working distance at high magnification is not enough.


3. The image is clear at low magnification, and the image is blurry at high magnification


1. Under high magnification, there are higher requirements for sample thickness and flatness.


2. For the biological 100x lens, pay attention to whether there is oil dripping and whether the objective lens is clean.


3. When switching to high magnification, the aperture diaphragm on the condenser should be enlarged accordingly.


Fourth, the visual field appears bright and uneven


Check that the optical path is aligned before using the microscope.


5. The light bulb is lit, but the eyepiece field of view is completely black


1. Check whether the objective lens is turned into the optical path, whether the field diaphragm and aperture diaphragm are adjusted too small, and whether the optical path is centered.


2. Check whether the trinocular eyepiece and the video switch lever are in the video position.


6. The brightness of the field of view is dim


1. Whether the field diaphragm and aperture diaphragm are adjusted too small.


2. Whether the optical path is adjusted in place (condenser, diaphragm, filament).


3. Whether polarized light and phase difference components are used.


7. Black borders appear in the eyepiece field of view


1. Check whether the field diaphragm is too small;


2. Whether the optical path is aligned (condenser, diaphragm, filament);


3. Whether the objective lens turntable is in place;


4. Whether the eyepiece tube and the fuselage are correct.


8. Synchronization problem, when using the camera to observe, the eyepiece observation is clear, but the computer display image is blurred


1. Adjust the height of the interface or the interface lens to achieve synchronization.


2. If the adjustment interface cannot be completely synchronized, try to adjust the diopter of the eyepiece.
