Daily Maintenance and Care of Optical Microscopes
① Operate the microscope in strict accordance with the procedures and instruction manual.
② When moving the microscope, support the base. Do not tilt it and handle it with care.
③ Do not move the microscope during observation.
④ Do not touch the optical components of the microscope with bare fingers. Wipe them with special lens tissue.
⑤ When switching objective lenses, rotate the nosepiece instead of pulling the objective lens. Do not turn the focusing handwheel at will; rotate it slowly and gently during operation.
⑥ When using a high-power objective lens, avoid excessive movement to prevent damage to the objective lens and glass slide.
⑦ Do not arbitrarily disassemble microscope parts or objective lenses to avoid damaging the microscope.
⑧ After using the microscope, inspect the objective lenses, wipe the lenses and stage clean, and store the microscope in its case.
⑨ Store the microscope in a dry and clean environment to prevent contamination from dust and chemicals.
