Difference between stereomicroscope and biomicroscope

Imaging results and machine structure is different: stereo microscope is a double optical path, the formation of the angle, imitating the human eye imaging, see the object has a sense of three-dimensional; general biological microscope is a single optical path, just for the convenience of looking at the human eye divided into two eyepieces.

Stereo microscope magnification is small, dozens of times the maximum three hundred times or so, the working distance is large, you can look at large samples, anatomy, etc.; biological microscope magnification is small, up to 1,000 times the maximum working distance is small, but also look at some of the slices and so on.

Stereomicroscope, also known as "solid microscope" or "anatomical microscope", is a three-dimensional sense of the positive image of the visual instrument, is widely used in biology, medicine, agriculture, forestry, industry and marine biology departments.
Biological microscope is used to observe biological slices, biological cells, bacteria, and living tissue culture, fluid precipitation and other observation and research, and at the same time can observe other transparent or translucent objects as well as powder, fine particles and other objects. The picture on the left shows the production of inverted biological microscope type, the biological microscope is also a food factory, drinking water factory QS, HACCP certification of the necessary inspection equipment.

The difference between the stereomicroscope and biological microscope can be distinguished from the following points:
1, imaging effect: somatoscopic microscope is called somatoscopic because it can observe three-dimensional samples, the establishment of the body's image; and biological microscope
microscope can only observe flat samples. The reason is that the depth of field of the stereo microscope is much larger than the biological microscope.

2, magnification and resolution: stereo microscope objective lens magnification of the most conventional 0.65X ~ 4.5X, a good point of 0.75X ~ 7.5X.
Imported products can be up to a dozen times, somatoscopic can be continuous zoom; biological microscope objective lens generally for the
4X\10X\40X\100X fixed magnification. The resolution of biological microscope is much higher under the same magnification, except for special ones.

3, application areas: body microscope applications are very wide, biology, medicine, agriculture, etc.; electronic circuits, microelectronics, chips, etc.;
Metal parts, heat treatment, etc. Biological generally only used in biology, medicine, agriculture and so on. Because body vision can
observe transparent and semi-transparent samples, biology can only observe transparent samples.
