Digital illuminance meter common problem solution
◆ When the battery power is low, "BT" will appear on the LCD, indicating that the battery must be replaced.
◆ Remove the power from all test terminals and open the battery cover in the direction of the arrow. Remove the battery from the buckle and replace it with a new 9V battery.
◆ Close the battery cover.
Measurement method:
◆ Turn on the power.
◆ Select the appropriate measurement gear.
◆ Open the light detector head cover and place the light detector at the horizontal position of the light source to be measured.
◆ Read the measured value from the illuminance meter LCD.
◆ If the high digit "1" is displayed on the left side of the measured value, it means the overload phenomenon, and you should select a higher measurement immediately.
◆ When setting 20000LUX/fc file bit, the displayed reading value must be x 10 times to be the true value of measurement. ◆When setting 20000LUX/fc file bit, the displayed reading value must be ×100 times to be the true value of measurement.
◆Reading value lock switch: Press the HOLD switch once, the LCD displays the "H" symbol and the locked value. Press the HOLD switch again to cancel the reading value lock function.
◆Peak Lock: To measure the optical pulse signal, press the PEAK switch once, the LCD will display "P" symbol and the peak value of the pulse. Press the PEAK switch once, the LCD will display the "P" symbol and the peak value of the pulse.
◆After the measurement is finished, put the cover back on the optical detector head and turn the power switch to OFF.
Maintenance matters:
◆ Do not measure under high temperature and high humidity.
◆ Keep the light detector clean when in use.
◆ The light source test reference alignment is at the top of the light receiving sphere.
◆ The sensitivity of the light detector may be reduced due to usage conditions or time. It is recommended that you have the meter calibrated periodically to maintain the basic degree.
