Digital Multimeter Accuracy
Digital multimeter accuracy is not the same as display resolution. Accuracy refers to the maximum allowable error limit for readings. Generally speaking, manufacturers will compare the accuracy of direct current voltage (DCV) with the specifications of other manufacturers, because the accuracy of DCV is higher than other functions. Accuracy specifications can be expressed as ±(% of reading + % of range)
There are many types of digital multimeters on the market. To choose the right one, you need to know your target application, range and resolution. If you need higher measurement accuracy, you must choose a PinTech digital multimeter with higher resolution.
