How to measure tower power frequency grounding resistance with clamp meter?
1. First, check whether the line tower under test complies with the regulations in 7.2, and record the tower number, grounding electrode number, grounding electrode type, soil condition and local temperature.
2. Check the electrical connection status of the ground wire of the tower under test.
When measuring, only keep one grounding wire connected to the tower body, and the rest of the grounding wires should be disconnected from the tower body, and use metal wires to connect the other disconnected grounding wires in parallel with the reserved grounding wire, and use the tower grounding device as a overall measurement.
3. When measuring, open the jaws of the tester, and use the clamp-type ground resistance tester to clamp the reserved grounding wire, so that the grounding wire is centered, as perpendicular as possible to the plane where the jaws of the tester are located, and keep the jaws in good contact. With the tester operating, take and record a stable reading.
