When purchasing a lead-free soldering station, you must first ensure two points:
1. Ensure that the welding temperature is about 350°C
2. Ensure the welding speed is 3-4 seconds for one spot
Only those that can guarantee the above two points can be called lead-free soldering stations. If it is not advisable to increase the welding temperature in order to ensure the welding speed, it will affect the quality of the solder joints and shorten the service life of the soldering iron tip.
Lead-free soldering stations generally have several powers of 80W, 100W, 120W, and 150W. An 80W lead-free soldering station can satisfy most of the solder joints. If the solder joints are too large, you can choose a lead-free soldering station with higher power.
