Maintenance and upkeep of tool microscopes

When the microscope is not in use, wrap it in a plastic bag, and then place 1-2 bags of desiccant in the plastic belt. The desiccant is usually in the Wangwang biscuit or mooncake box, and there is desiccant. The microscope should be placed in a ventilated environment, and the objective lens should be regularly wiped.

A tool microscope is a very precise measuring instrument, and if not properly maintained, it will greatly reduce its service life and accuracy. The following are the maintenance and recommendations provided

1. Environment:

It is best to place a tool microscope in a clean and tidy place, but there are many opportunities to use it in a mechanical factory. Therefore, the following points should be noted:

(1) Generally, lighting should not exceed the necessary brightness.

(2) Places that will not be contaminated with oil.

(3) Places with less dust.

(4) Places with low vibration.

(5) A location where rapid temperature changes will not occur.

2. Glass components:

Glass parts should be kept clean at all times and should not be contaminated with dirt, otherwise the image may not be clear and the measurement accuracy may be reduced.

(1) Lens: It should be noted not to touch the lens with your hands. If there are hand lines or oil stains on the surface of the lens, lens cleaner or alcohol soaked in gauze can be used to gently wipe it. If you are not familiar with the lens, please do not decompose it randomly, as slight dust will not affect the measurement effect.

(2) Measuring pedestal glass: When placing the measuring object, it is most likely to damage the glass surface of this part, so special attention should be paid. If there is oil or dust, please wipe it with a soft cloth. Also, great attention should be paid to the use of object lenses and observation lenses. When disassembling the observation lens from the microscope, it is easy to dust the active focal length of the microscope, so even if not in use, the observation lens should be installed on the microscope.

3. Electrical parts:

The tool microscope must use a relatively high voltage current. If the contact is poor, it can easily generate heat and cause danger. Therefore, it must be checked at any time, and in principle, the host must be grounded.

4. Consumables and accessories:

Bulbs and power fuses are consumables that should be prepared for replacement when purchased. The most important attachment is the glass of the measuring table, and spare parts must also be prepared.
