Maintenance measures for flammable gas detectors
Combustible gas detector is a detector that responds to the concentration of single or multiple combustible gases, and there are two types: catalytic type and infrared optical type. Catalytic combustible gas detector uses the resistance change of refractory metal platinum wire after heating to determine the concentration of combustible gases.
Maintenance measures for combustible gas detectors:
1. Due to the generally harsh working environment of combustible gas detectors, pollutants and dust may enter the interior of the instrument. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean and maintain the combustible gas detector to improve its accuracy and sensitivity.
2. In order to ensure that the gas detector is not affected by electromagnetic interference, it is necessary to check the grounding of the instrument to prevent situations such as ungrounded or poorly grounded instruments.
3. Ensure the reliability of the instrument and prevent malfunctions caused by aging of its components. Promptly replace systems that have exceeded their service life.
4. Do not use or store instruments in dusty or dirty places for a long time. Do not store instruments in high or cold places.
5. Prohibit the use of irritating chemicals, detergents, or high concentration cleaning agents to clean instruments. Please use a clean cotton ball dipped in a small amount of water or soapy water to gently test the instrument and wipe it dry in a timely manner.
6. Different gas detectors should be selected for different application scenarios. Places that use coal gas, natural gas, and liquefied gas should use semiconductor combustible gas detectors, while industrial places that emit combustible gases and vapors should use catalytic combustible gas detectors.
