Master the key points and rationally use composite multi-gas detectors
Composite multi-gas detectors are used in a wide range of places. They can be used for safety inspections and detection in production workshops, storage warehouses, pipeline construction, tunnel underground mine construction and other places. Many customers have also purchased composite multi-gas detectors. .
How to use the composite multi-gas detector:
1. Turn on the instrument
When the power is off and the battery power is sufficient, press "
In the measurement state, press the "1" key for about 2 seconds to shut down the instrument.
2. Insufficient battery
When the battery power of the instrument is lower than the preset value, an audible undervoltage alarm will be triggered to remind the operator that the battery power is insufficient and needs to be recharged. When under-voltage alarm occurs, the battery symbol flashes together with the audible alarm. When the battery is exhausted, the instrument will automatically shut down.
When an undervoltage alarm occurs, the operator should shut down the instrument and charge it. The charging time is about 3-4 hours.
Execution of preheating self-test of composite multi-gas detector:
After pressing the "1" button to turn on the instrument, it will conduct a self-test process for the instrument's power, sensors, and audible and visual vibration alarm functions. It will enter a 100-second countdown to preheat. After preheating, it will directly enter the measurement status interface.
Note: If the self-test fails, you should perform the self-test again. If it fails again, please contact us or the local agent/service provider.
Measurement modes of composite multi-gas detector:
Adopting free diffusion detection method, during normal operation, the instrument can be fixed on the belt or used handheld. Once turned on, the instrument will continuously measure, and the surrounding air can enter the sensor through diffusion. Usually the flow of air can directly send the measurement target gas into the sensor, and the sensor will respond to the concentration of the gas and give a measurement result. The principle of diffusion detection is to use the above method to directly detect the gas concentration around the instrument. The advantage of diffusion is the rapid response time. If you need to remotely detect the gas at the sampling location, you need to use the suction method for measurement. In this case, the instrument needs to use a calibration cover and an optional air pump. When using the calibration cover, make sure that the direction of the gas collection is in the direction indicated by the arrow. .
