1. How to use the composite multi-gas detector:

1. Turn on the instrument

When the instrument is turned off and the battery is fully charged, press "

In the measurement state, press the "1" key for about 2 seconds to turn off the instrument.

2. Low battery

When the battery power of the instrument is lower than the preset value, an audible undervoltage alarm will be triggered to prompt the operator that the battery is low and needs to be charged. During the undervoltage alarm, in addition to the audible alarm, the battery symbol will flash together. When the battery is exhausted, the instrument will automatically shut down.

When the undervoltage alarm occurs, the operator should shut down the instrument and charge it, which takes about 3-4 hours.

2. Preheating self-test of the composite multi-gas detector:

After pressing the "1" key to turn on the instrument, there will be a self-test process for the instrument's own power, sensor, and sound, light and vibration alarm function, and enter the 100-second countdown preheating. After the preheating is completed, it will directly enter the measurement status interface.

III. Measurement mode of composite multi-gas detector:

Adopting free diffusion detection method, the instrument can be fixed on the belt or handheld during normal operation. Once turned on, the instrument will measure continuously, and the surrounding air can enter the sensor by diffusion. Usually, the flow of air can directly send the measured target gas into the sensor, and the sensor will respond to the concentration of the gas and give the measurement result. The principle of diffusion detection is to use the above method to directly detect the gas concentration around the instrument. The advantage of diffusion is that the response time is fast. If the gas at the sampling location needs to be detected remotely, it is necessary to use the suction method for measurement. At this time, the instrument needs to use a calibration hood and an optional air pump. When using the calibration hood, ensure that the direction of gas collection is in the direction indicated by the arrow.
