Operating Instructions for Soil Moisture Meter
The soil moisture detector has a large Chinese LCD screen that can display temperature values, moisture values, number of groups, low voltage warnings, and store data in real time, making it easy to carry and operate in the field. Below is an introduction to the usage of the soil moisture detector:
1. Remove the covering materials such as stones, grass, leaves, etc. on the surface of the tested soil, and remove the surface soil. If the soil is too dry, pour some water first, and then measure after 25-30 minutes.
2. Before testing, please wipe the metal surface of the probe with a soft cloth. Select the option to be measured, the switch for humidity and acidity. When using the instrument for the first time, it is recommended to conduct multiple tests before reading to avoid the influence of the protective oil layer on the probe metal surface on humidity and pH values.
3. When measuring, insert the instrument probe into the soil, paying attention to inserting all electrodes of the probe into the soil and ensuring that the electrodes are in close contact with the edge soil.
4. To ensure the measurement of soil pH and humidity values, the probe needs to be inserted into the soil for 10 minutes. Due to different soil properties, the contact tightness between the probe and the soil also varies. Suggest measuring multiple values and taking the average.
5. After use, please wipe the probe clean.
Soil moisture is an important component of soil and plays a crucial role in crop growth and water-saving irrigation. The soil moisture meter uses GPS positioning system to grasp the distribution of soil moisture (water), providing scientific basis for differentiated water-saving irrigation.
