1. Immediate measurement method
The immediate measurement method refers to the measurement method in which the camera of the test pen directly touches the measured object to distinguish whether it is charged or not.
When applying the immediate measurement method, touch the metal material camera of the test pen to the object to be measured, and hold down the immediate and precise measurement function key (DIRECT) with your hand;
If the measured object is charged, the display light on the test pen will turn on, and the display will display information about the measured voltage value.
General test pen can display information 12v, 36v, 55v, 110v and 220v. Under normal circumstances, the final display information of the display is marked with the measured voltage value.
2. Magnetic induction measurement method
The magnetic induction measurement method refers to the measurement method in which the camera of the test pen is close to but not touching the measured object, and the voltage magnetic induction is used to distinguish whether the measured object is charged or not.
If the power transmission line is live, the test pen display will display the marking of the information voltage;
If the disconnection indicator in the middle of the transmission line is off, and the voltage indicator fades, indicating that there is a disconnection at the location.
The magnetic induction measurement method can find the disconnected part of the insulated wire, and can also distinguish the live wire and the neutral wire of the insulated wire.
