Practical application of combustible gas detector in life

  (1) Centralized control of apartment buildings

This is a typical civil application of the combustible gas detector, and this method can be used in any residential building equipped with a building administrator. The detector is installed in each residential unit, and is connected to the centralized monitoring panel in the duty room through the output. Once gas leakage occurs in a unit, the combustible gas detector will act immediately and output a signal, which can be displayed on the monitoring panel.

  (2) Use with burning appliances

This is to connect the combustible gas detector with gas appliances such as gas water heaters, stoves, range hoods, etc. When there is gas leakage, the detector will act to give an audible and visual alarm, and output electrical signals at the same time. If it is matched with a range hood, turn on the power of the range hood and discharge the leaking gas. If it is connected to a water heater or a stove, the solenoid valve connected to the gas pipeline will act to cut off the gas path. There is also a detector that is directly connected to the gas meter. When an alarm occurs, the solenoid valve in the gas meter acts to cut off the gas source.

  (3) Use alone

This is the simplest use of the combustible gas detector. When the combustible gas leakage reaches a certain concentration, the detector will issue an audible and visual alarm. This alarm method requires that someone in the house must take immediate measures to manually cut off the gas source.
