Precautions for the use of infrared thermometers
When we use the infrared thermometer to measure, we must first pay attention not to measure the temperature through the glass, and the infrared thermometer can only measure the surface temperature, and the infrared thermometer cannot measure the internal temperature.
Pay attention to environmental conditions: steam, dust, smoke, etc., will affect the optical system of the instrument and affect the temperature measurement.
Here are some suggestions:
1. To avoid damage to the infrared thermometer, please use compressed air to remove large particles and dust, and then wipe with a cloth.
2. Gently wipe the lens with a soft cotton cloth dipped in a non-corrosive solution or a mild diluted soap solution marked for cleaning the lens. Do not wipe the lens with a soft cotton cloth or immerse the cloth in liquids. Gently wipe the display with a clean computer monitor cleaning cloth.
3. When cleaning the main body of the infrared thermometer, use a clean, slightly damp cloth to gently wipe the main body of the thermometer. Dampen the cloth with water and a small amount of mild soap if necessary.
4. After use, please cover the infrared thermometer with the lens cap as soon as possible and store it in the carrying case.
