The detection principle of pump suction gas detector
The working principle of a pump type gas detector is the same as that of a diffusion type gas detector. The sample gas is detected through the sensor of the instrument, and then converted into corresponding values through circuit amplification and display on the screen. Catalytic combustion type sensors are commonly used for combustible gases, while electrochemical type sensors are commonly used for toxic gases.
The pump suction gas detector is equipped with a small air pump in the instrument, which works by driving the power supply to sample the gas in the test area, and then sending the sample gas into the instrument for detection.
Advantages and disadvantages of pump suction gas detectors
The advantages of a pump suction gas detector are: fast detection speed, remote measurement of hazardous areas, maintenance of personnel safety, and the same as diffusion gas detectors.
The disadvantage is that the price is relatively expensive.
The application of pump suction gas detector
Pump suction gas detectors are often used in special situations, such as gas concentration detection in tunnels, pipelines, sewers, tanks, sealed containers, etc. that are not suitable for people to enter or are difficult to enter. Common ones include: pump suction oxygen detector, pump suction hydrogen sulfide detector, pump suction chlorine gas detector, pump suction hydrogen chloride detector, pump suction combustible gas detector, etc.
