Quality assessment of industrial online pH meters
From a usage perspective, the quality judgment of industrial online pH meters is mainly reflected in:
1. Accuracy: An industrial online pH meter without accuracy has no practical value. The way to determine the stability of an online pH meter is to use high-precision instruments. The same industrial online pH meter can be placed in a stable solution for a long time to see if the value changes and the magnitude of the change; On the other hand, the stability of multiple industrial online pH meters requires placing several calibrated industrial pH meters of the same model in the same stable solution to see if the readings are consistent and how much error there is. If stability cannot be guaranteed between several industrial online pH meters of the same model, it is difficult to ensure the accuracy and stability of each instrument's industrial pH meter.
3. Common error adjustment: Temperature is the most significant factor causing pH errors, and the presence or absence of temperature probes, as well as the sensitivity of temperature probes, also affect the use of industrial online pH meters.
4. Easy to operate, beautiful interface: Users can easily judge this aspect. Some old-fashioned industrial online pH meters use analog switches, which makes calibration difficult, small changes are difficult to detect, and can easily lead to fatal system errors. On the other hand, considering cost and technology reasons, many instruments use LED digital tubes, which do not have rich display content. Of course, some manufacturers have also made up for this disadvantage through certain means. At present, the commonly used interfaces for convenient operation are LCD display keyboard type humidity sensor probes, stainless steel electric heating tubes, PT100 sensors, fluid solenoid valves, cast aluminum heaters, and heating coils.
5. The advantages and disadvantages of pH electrodes: There is no doubt that the performance of electrodes directly affects some technical indicators of industrial online pH meters. Even the most superior industrial online pH meters equipped with inferior electrodes are of no use.
6. Security: In recent years, more and more customers have begun to pay attention to operational safety, and well-designed industrial online pH meters using lower voltage inputs can greatly improve safety performance.
