2. When plugging and unplugging the probe of the coating thickness gauge, the host power of the thickness gauge must be turned off before plugging and unplugging. Otherwise, it will easily cause the integrated block inside the probe to burn;
3. When measuring the thickness gauge, the probe should be placed stably, the strength should not be too large, and the speed should not be a very fast point measurement; when testing, the probe must not scratch the surface under test, which will easily cause damage. The probe of the coating thickness gauge is damaged;
4. It is very important that the measurement cannot be performed when the coating is not dry. Many customers often measure when the coating is not dry, which causes the probe to stick to the paint, and then clean it with banana water or xylene. Use after peeling off the paint. If you do this, the more serious situation is that the probe of the thickness gauge will be scrapped directly. Even if it is not scrapped, the sensitivity of the probe will be greatly reduced, and the service life of the probe will also be reduced;
5. When choosing a coating thickness gauge, try to choose a split instrument. Since the probe is a wearing part, it has a certain service life and is also a consumable. The probe of the all-in-one machine cannot be repaired, and the price of replacing the probe is very high, which is close to the price of a new machine. The split machine only needs to replace the probe.
