Teach the correct use of digital multimeter
From the digital multimeter voltage, resistance, current, diode, transistor, MOS field effect tube measurements and other measurement methods, so that you can better master the multimeter measurement method.
Before use, you should read the relevant instruction manual carefully and familiarise yourself with the role of the power switch, range switch, jacks and special sockets.
1, the ON / OFF switch in the ON position, check the 9V battery, if the battery voltage is insufficient, it will be shown on the display, then the battery needs to be replaced. If the display does not show, then follow the steps below.
2, The symbol next to the test pen jack indicates that the input voltage or current should not exceed the indicated value, this is to protect the internal wiring from damage.
3, Before testing. The function switch should be placed at your desired range.
Precautions
To avoid electric shock and personal injury, please read the "Safety Information" and "Warnings and Precautions" in the instruction manual before use, and the following specifications are general and universal:
1. Do not use the meter if it is damaged. Before using the meter, check the case and especially the insulation next to the terminals.
2, Check the meter pens for damaged insulation or bare metal; check the on-off of the pens; replace damaged pens before use.
3, Do not use the meter again when it has been used abnormally; its protection circuit may fail; when in doubt, send the meter for repair.
4, Do not use the meter in explosive gas, water vapour or dusty environment.
Do not input the rated voltage indicated on the meter to the meter terminals (both inputs, or any input to earth).
6. Before use, the meter should be used to measure a known voltage to confirm that the meter is normal.
7, When measuring current, turn off the power to the circuit before connecting the meter to the circuit.
8, When servicing the meter, use only the parts labelled or supplied by the manufacturer.
9, The meter must be used in accordance with the methods specified in this manual, otherwise the protection provided by the meter may fail.
10, Please pay special attention when measuring AC voltages with an RMS value of 30V, AC voltages with a peak value of up to 42V, or DC voltages of 60V or more, as such voltages can create a risk of electric shock.
