The value measured by the online ph meter is not accurate, maybe you have not done these few things in place

 

The online ph meter is used to detect the pH value. It is widely used in metallurgy, environmental protection, biochemistry, food and tap water, chemical fertilizers, etc. It has high cost performance and excellent test performance.


Some customers will require a relatively high accuracy of the measured value, so the PH meter needs to be calibrated, so why is the value measured by the online ph meter inaccurate? Maybe you're not doing enough of these things.


For those samples whose measurement accuracy is below 0.1pH, some calibration methods can be used to adjust the instrument, generally using pH6.86 or pH7.00 standard buffer. Some instruments have an accuracy of only 0.2pH or 0.1pH, so the instrument only needs to have a "positioning" adjustment knob. Then the specific operation method is as follows:


1. Measure the temperature of the standard buffer solution, check the table to determine the pHs value at the temperature, and then adjust the temperature compensation knob to the temperature.


2. Then rinse the pH meter electrode with pure water and dry it.


3. Dip the electrode of the pH meter into the buffer solution and shake it, then place it still. After the reading is stable, adjust the positioning knob to make the instrument display the pHs value of the standard solution.


4. Take out the pH meter electrode, rinse and dry it


5. Measure the temperature of the sample, and adjust the temperature compensation knob of the pH meter to the temperature value.


6. Immerse the electrode of the pH meter in the sample solution, shake it and place it still, and the reading will display after stabilization.
