3、From the frequency characteristics of the sound source or sound field, it can be divided into broadband noise, narrowband noise and noise containing prominent pure tone components.
4、From the precision of measurement requirements, it can be divided into precision measurement, engineering measurement and noise census, etc.

Whether the noise meter is used correctly or not, it directly affects the accuracy of the measurement results.
1, Precautions:
Before use, you should read the manual to understand the use of the instrument and precautions. Install the battery or external power supply to pay attention to the polarity, do not reverse. Long-term use should be removed from the battery, so as not to leak liquid damage to the instrument. Do not disassemble the microphone to prevent it from being thrown or dropped, and place it properly when not in use. The instrument should be avoided to be placed in high temperature, humidity, sewage, dust and air or chemical gases with high hydrochloric acid and alkali content. Do not disassemble the instrument without authorization. If the instrument is not normal, can be sent to the repair unit or factory overhaul.
2, the sensitivity of the calibration:
In order to ensure the accuracy of the measurement, calibration should be carried out before and after use. Match the sound level calibrator with the microphone, turn on the calibration power, read the value, adjust the noise meter sensitivity potentiometer, complete the calibration.
3. Measurement method :
Measurement, the instrument should be selected according to the situation of the correct gear, both hands hold the noise meter flat on both sides, microphone pointing to the measured sound source, can also be used to extend the cable and extension rod, to reduce the noise meter appearance and the human body on the measurement of the impact. The position of the microphone should be determined according to the relevant regulations.
