Three series of non-contact infrared body temperature detectors

Infrared body temperature detectors can be roughly divided into "non-contact" and "contact". Among them, the "non-contact" equipment can be divided into three series: portable, online and scanning, and each series has different models and specifications.

During the high-incidence period of the epidemic, different infrared body temperature detectors need to be deployed in places with high traffic such as traffic fortresses, medical institutions, and entrances and exits of communities to help staff detect suspected cases early and avoid cross-infection.

1. Portable infrared body temperature detector

Our common portable infrared temperature detection equipment includes ear thermometers, forehead thermometers, and handheld infrared temperature detectors. The prices of such products are relatively cheap, ranging from a few hundred yuan to thousands of yuan.

At present, the domestic market has a large demand for handheld infrared temperature detectors. On the 2nd of this month, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that in 2020, my country's demand for such equipment will be about 550,000 units. Compared with ear thermometers and forehead thermometers, handheld infrared thermometers do have greater advantages.

ear thermometer

Ear thermometers usually use a thermopile sensor, which includes an optical system, a photodetector - a thermopile, and a thermistor. The ear thermometer detects the far-infrared radiation intensity of the human eardrum through a thermopile sensor, and the result obtained is related to the radiation intensity of the measured object and the temperature of the thermopile itself, which can be obtained by calculating the radiation intensity and the temperature of the thermopile itself The temperature of the measured object. It is understood that ear thermometers allow a certain error, usually within the range of 36-39°C, the error is ±0.2°C, and when it is higher than 39°C and lower than 36°C, the error is ±0.3°C.

Although the ear thermometer does not touch the eardrum, the probe needs to be placed deep in the external auditory canal during use, which will actually touch the skin. So strictly speaking, it is not suitable as an epidemic investigation tool for front-line personnel.

Forehead thermometer

The forehead thermometer is a relatively common non-contact infrared thermometer in family life. It is mainly composed of an infrared probe assembly, a main circuit board assembly, an LCD display assembly, and a housing assembly. During the use of the device, aim the probe at 3-5 cm in front of the forehead, press the measurement button, and the measurement data will be displayed after a few seconds. The measurement accuracy of the forehead temperature gun is generally ±0.3°C.

Based on this feature, this product is more suitable for home users, hotels, libraries, enterprises and institutions, as well as hospitals, schools, customs, airports and other comprehensive places to check for influenza. For the current epidemic situation, since the measurement distance is only a few centimeters, and there is a delay of about 1-3 seconds in displaying the measurement results, the efficiency of the device will be relatively low when the flow of people is too large.

The hand-held infrared body temperature detector is composed of optical system, photoelectric detector, signal amplifier, signal processing, display output and other parts, and has the advantages of convenience, accuracy and safety. It is widely used in medical treatment and equipment fault diagnosis.

Its working principle is to convert the radiant energy of infrared rays emitted by objects into electrical signals. The magnitude of the infrared radiant energy corresponds to the temperature of the object itself, and the temperature of the surface of the measured object is determined according to the magnitude of the converted electrical signal.

Different from ear thermometers and forehead thermometers for point-touch temperature measurement, the handheld infrared thermometer can be aimed at the face for area-array non-contact temperature measurement within a range of 1 meter to 1.5 meters, and its measurement results Can be displayed in real time. Therefore, it is more suitable for relatively small scenes such as highway intersections, hospitals, and communities, and its demand is large.
