Thunder magnet pH meter calibration steps measuring electrode

Things to note before using the thundermagnetic pH meter:

Screw the electrode stem into the electrode stem socket, adjust the electrode clamp to the appropriate position, and remove the short-circuit socket.

The composite electrode clip is pulled on the electrode clip and the electrode sleeve at the front end of the electrode is pulled off. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and blot dry with filter paper after cleaning. Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet.

After the power is turned on, preheat for 30 minutes, and then perform calibration. The instrument must be calibrated before use. Generally, when the instrument is used continuously, it needs to be calibrated once a day.

Thunder magnet pH meter calibration steps
Plug the composite electrode into the measuring electrode socket;

Adjust the selector switch knob to the PH position;

Press the "Temperature" button to put the instrument into the solution temperature adjustment state. Press "▲" or "▼" on the "Temperature" key to adjust the temperature display value to rise or fall, so that the temperature displayed on the instrument is the current solution temperature value, and then press "Confirm" " key, the instrument returns to the pH measurement state after determining the solution temperature.

Use a magnetic pH meter to insert the electrode that has been cleaned with distilled water and dried with filter paper into the standard solution of pH=6.86. After the reading is stable, press the "position" key (the pH indicator light flashes slowly at this time, indicating that the instrument is in the positioning and calibration state) , press "▲" or "▼" on the "Location" key to adjust the pH display value to rise or fall, so that the instrument display reading is consistent with the pH value of the buffer solution at that time, and then press the "Confirm" key (such as mixed phosphoric acid When salt is 10℃, pH=6.92).

Turn the slope adjustment knob clockwise to the bottom (that is, to the 100% position); adjust the positioning adjustment knob so that the instrument display reading is consistent with the pH value of the buffer solution when the temperature drops steadily (for example, when using mixed phosphoric acid to position the temperature at 100C , PH=6.92)

Insert the electrode that has been washed with distilled water and dried with filter paper into the standard solution of pH=4.00 (or pH=9.18). After the reading is stable, press the "Slope" key and press "▲" or "▼" on the "Slope" key. Adjust the pH display value to rise or fall so that the reading is the pH value of the solution at that time, and then press the "Confirm" key. The instrument enters the pH measurement state, the pH indicator light stops flashing, and the instrument completes calibration. Measurement can only be carried out after calibration is completed.
