PH meter Acidity meter method and precautions for measuring PH value
1. How to measure ph with pH meter and acidity meter:
(1) Take off the pen cap
(2) Press the on/off button, the machine will display operating
(3) Place the pH meter into the liquid to be measured
(4) Gently shake the pH meter to ensure that the bubbles inside are released and fully contacted with the solution. Do not hit the wall of the cup.
(5) The ph meter will display the value immediately. Place the pen into the liquid to be measured and wait for the value to stabilize. The correct value will be displayed within 30 seconds. (Special: It is normal for the ph count value to fluctuate up and down or be unstable)
(6) Press the hold key to lock the value, which can be recorded and read outside the solution to be tested. Continue to press the hold key to unlock it.
(7) Press the on/off button to turn off the pH meter
(8) Gently shake off the excess water on the pH meter test pen, rinse it with distilled water or deionized water, and cover the pen cap to measure the temperature. In the test mode, the temperature value and the pH value are displayed on the LCD panel simultaneously, but in the calibration mode Not displayed below, the value defaults to Celsius.
2. Precautions for pH meter and acidity meter:
(1) Please avoid high temperature and direct light exposure
(2) Do not touch the sensor. If you touch it, please rinse it with a buffer solution with a pH of 7.
(3) Please cap the pen after each use
(4) Do not test in high temperature liquid for too long
(5) Please rinse the sensor after use in solutions with high TDS values.
(6) If the pH solution is measured with a very different range, it needs to be rinsed in a buffer solution with a pH of 7.
(7) To optimize performance, use the best measurement accuracy at least once a month
(8) Although unnecessary, the pH pen will be more accurate if it is calibrated before each use.
(9) Rinse with buffer solution with pH 7 after each use.
(10) When using, be sure to shake out the air bubbles inside
(11) If the sensor is scratched, it needs to be replaced immediately
(12) If the reading is slow or the response is unresponsive, the pH meter battery or sensor needs to be replaced. If the pH pen is continuously used and calibrated, the performance will be affected. If the pH pen is operating in a suitable environment, press the temp/cal key. When cal When flashing, press the temp/cal and hold keys simultaneously for 2 seconds to restart calibration, and then you can recalibrate.
