Usage of combustible gas detector

The combustible gas detector is a very important safety detection device, which can effectively detect the concentration of combustible gases and issue an alarm in a timely manner to prevent the harm caused by combustible gases. Therefore, if we want the combustible gas detector to be used normally, we need the correct method of use. So what is the usage method of a combustible gas detector?

1. Press the power button of the combustible gas detector and wait for 30-60 seconds. After the combustible gas detector is fully started, all values on the display screen can be displayed normally before proceeding to the next step of operation.

2. Place the portable combustible gas detector in the environment to be tested and wait for about 3 minutes. After the combustible gas detector completely detects the leakage concentration of the combustible gas in the environment, its display screen will display the specific concentration value of the combustible gas, with a detection range of 0-100% LEL.

3. If the detected combustible gas leakage concentration is greater than 25% LEL and less than 50% LEL, the combustible gas detector will emit a low alarm. If the concentration of combustible gas leakage is detected to be greater than 50% LEL, the combustible gas detector will emit a high-frequency sound and light alarm signal to improve the control of combustible gas in the environment by on-site operators, thereby achieving safe and efficient production.

4. After using the combustible gas detector, in addition to normal shutdown and timely charging, effective maintenance and upkeep of the combustible gas detector are also necessary. Generally, reset the values to zero, clean the instrument, and especially clean the sensor position of the combustible gas detector in a timely manner. Due to the relatively harsh operating environment on many sites, small particles of dust may cause sensor blockage in combustible gas detectors, affecting their sensitivity.
