What are the PCB circuit board welding process requirements?

PCB circuit board welding is an important part of electronic technology. Correct solder joint design and good processing technology (ie, circuit board soldering process) are the key factors for reliable soldering. So what are the requirements for the welding process of PCB circuit boards? The following editors from Jingbang PCB circuit board manufacturers will introduce to you:

1. Welding tools and equipment: Reasonable selection of the power and type of electric soldering iron is directly related to improving the quality and efficiency of welding. It is recommended to use a low-voltage temperature-controlled electric soldering iron. The soldering iron tip can be made of nickel-plated, iron-plated or copper-plated materials, and the shape should be determined according to the needs of welding. Wave soldering machine and reflow soldering machine are one of the welding equipment suitable for industrial mass production.

2. Soldering material: Solder usually adopts Sn60 or Sn63 solder conforming to the American general standard, or adopts HL-SnPb39 tin-lead solder.

Flux can usually use rosin flux or water-soluble flux, the latter is generally only used for wave soldering. The cleaning agent should ensure no corrosion and no pollution to the circuit board. Generally, cleaning agents such as absolute ethanol (industrial alcohol), trichlorotrifluoroethane, isopropanol (IPA), aviation washing gasoline and deionized water are used for cleaning. The specific cleaning agent used for cleaning should be selected according to the process requirements.
