A multimeter, also known as a multimeter, is one of the most commonly used electronic testing tools. 1. The clamp meter can achieve non-contact measurement of current. The multimeter needs to clamp the test wire onto the wire in the circuit being tested, while the clamp type meter does not need to directly contact the wire, which greatly improves the safety and convenience of use.


2. The precision of clamp watches is higher. Due to its more sensitive measurement principle than a multimeter, a clamp meter can detect very weak currents in the circuit. In addition, its measurement error is much smaller than that of a multimeter, and can reach a few percent level. This is very important for high-precision current measurement of motors, transformers, and other devices.


3. Clamp gauges are only suitable for AC circuits. Due to the working principle of clamp meters being based on electromagnetic induction, they can only measure the current in AC circuits. A multimeter can measure the current in both DC and AC circuits.


4. The price of clamp watches is relatively higher. Due to its high technical principles and production costs, the price of clamp watches is also much more expensive than other tools.
