What are the technical quality indicators of DC regulated power supply?

The technical quality indicators of the DC regulated power supply reflect the advantages and disadvantages of the DC regulated power supply, including stability, equivalent internal resistance (output resistance), ripple voltage and temperature coefficient, etc.

(1) Voltage regulation rate SV. The voltage regulation rate is an important indicator of the voltage regulation performance of the DC regulated power supply, also known as the voltage regulation coefficient or stability coefficient. It indicates the degree to which the output voltage VO of the DC regulated power supply is stable when the input voltage V1 changes. It is usually expressed as the percentage of the relative change of the input and output voltages per unit output voltage.

(2) Current regulation rate. The current regulation rate is the main self-indicator reflecting the load capacity of the DC regulated power supply, also known as the current stability coefficient. It represents the ability of a DC stabilized power supply to suppress output voltage fluctuations caused by changes in load current (output current) when the input voltage is constant. Under specified load current change conditions, the current regulation rate of a DC stable power supply is usually expressed as a percentage of the output voltage change value per unit output voltage.

(3) Ripple suppression ratio The ripple suppression ratio reflects the ability of the DC regulated power supply to suppress the input supply voltage. When the input and output conditions of the DC regulated power supply remain unchanged, the ripple rejection ratio is usually expressed as the ratio of the peak-to-peak value of the input ripple voltage to the peak-to-peak value of the output ripple voltage. It is usually expressed in decibels, but sometimes it can also be expressed as a percentage. expressed or expressed directly as the ratio between the two.

(4) Temperature stability. The temperature stability of the integrated DC stable power supply is the relative change percentage value of the output voltage of the DC stable power supply within the specified maximum change range of the DC stable power supply operating temperature T1 (Tmin≤T1≤Tmax).

So how are the limit indicators reflected? The limit indicators are usually reflected in the maximum output voltage or maximum output current of the DC regulated power supply. The maximum output current can effectively ensure the safe operation of the DC regulated power supply. The maximum input voltage, and the maximum current is Maximum output current allowed for regulator operation.
