When using a diffusion-type gas detector, the sample gas slowly flows into the device for detection while the gas in the detection area flows freely in the air. The detection environment, including airflow, ambient temperature, and other factors, has an impact on this procedure. The inexpensive cost of diffusion gas detectors distinguishes them.
The pump suction gas detector has a little air pump built into it. The power source operates the air pump, which pumps and samples the gas in the measurement region before sending the sample gas to the instrument for detection. The fast detection speed, remote measurement of hazardous regions on site, and maintenance workers safety are the distinguishing features of the pump suction gas detector. Others are the same as detectors of diffusion gas.
Both the pumping type and the diffusion type gas detectors operate essentially in the same ways. The sensor of the instrument detects the gas, which is subsequently transformed via circuit amplification and sorting into the relevant value displayed on the screen.
