Clamp Meter Operating Procedures
Precautions:
1. Do not use the meter in damp, dirty, or hazardous environments;
2. Use the correct terminals, function range, and measurement range;
3. Never test current while the test leads are inserted into the input jack;
4. The voltage applied between the terminals or any terminal and the grounding point must not exceed the rated value indicated on the meter;
5. Exercise extreme caution with voltages above 30V AC (RMS), 42V AC (peak), or 60V DC, as these voltages pose a risk of electric shock;
6. To avoid electric shock or injury due to incorrect readings, replace the battery as soon as possible when the low battery indicator is displayed;
7. Before opening the back cover to replace the battery, disconnect the test leads and disconnect the meter from the circuit being tested. Do not operate the meter while the battery cover is removed or the casing is open;
9. Do not use the clamp meter if the wear marks inside the jaws are no longer visible;
10. The meter must be repaired by qualified professional technicians.
