Analysis of Factors Affecting the Detection Results of Multi-Gas Detectors
In the practical application of composite gas detectors, if equipment malfunctions, users should carefully analyze the form of the malfunction and find solutions based on different faults. Next, the editor will briefly introduce it to everyone.
1. The composite gas detector cannot be turned on: first plug in the charger to charge it, then turn it on. If it can be turned on by plugging in the charger, it may be out of power. You can charge it for a period of time and try again; After the charger is plugged in, it displays a red light when it is not fully charged and a green light when it is fully charged. If the green light keeps showing and the device cannot be turned on, there may be a problem with the charger; If it still doesn't work, it's possible that there's a problem with the battery (especially for portable instruments, which have been purchased for a long time); If it still doesn't work, you need to check if there is a problem with the battery connector. If there is no problem, it may be that the crystal oscillator of the instrument is broken and needs to be sent back for repair.
2. After turning on the composite gas detector, no matter how gas is introduced, there is no response and it keeps displaying 0 or full range: generally speaking, there is no response, it is basically because the sensor is loose and needs to be checked. If it is an oxygen detector, if the sensor is loose and disconnected from the motherboard for a long time, the instrument value will gradually decrease from full range to the appropriate concentration value within a period of time after being plugged in; If it is an online instrument, when it is necessary to open the air chamber to check the sensor, the rotating part must not be twisted. The air chamber needs to be removed first by removing the hexagonal screw before opening it; If the instrument keeps displaying full range, it is usually caused by incorrect parameter settings and returning to the target point in the air. It is necessary to restore the factory settings. There are many factors that affect the detection results of a composite gas detector during its use, among which personnel factors include the following:
1. The technical level, operational skills, and knowledge level of the operator of the composite gas detector;
2. The psychological and physiological conditions of the operators of the composite gas detector during operation;
3. The responsibility of the operators of the composite gas detector towards their work. The objective reasons include the following: the impact of the performance of testing instruments and equipment; Detecting the impact of working environment conditions; The impact of limitations of different detection methods. The impact of the work environment on the test results is often overlooked. Under laboratory conditions, due to the strict control of the surrounding environment, the room temperature is relatively suitable, the environment is relatively quiet, and the operation time is not strictly limited, the test results will achieve higher reliability than on site conditions. For example, under laboratory conditions, detection can achieve sufficient separation of the tested substance, obtain satisfactory detection conditions, and thus achieve high detection sensitivity, which is difficult to achieve under field conditions. For example, inappropriate temperatures can affect the psychological and physiological conditions of gas detection personnel, thereby affecting the detection results. Therefore, improving environmental conditions is also an important step in enhancing the reliability of detection.
