Application of Laser Rangefinders in High-temperature Metal Smelting

The Dimetix DAN-30-150 laser distance sensor from Hongke was aimed at the bumper on the casting line, accurately detecting the distance change when the hot (~2300 ⁰ F) casting plate moved along the production line towards the cooling device in front of the bumper.
This test not only demonstrates the capability of the laser rangefinder as a cost-effective thermal metal detection machine, but also demonstrates its ability to provide accurate and reliable measurements for applications with extremely high temperature dimensions.
